Classic beauty with a contemporary twist Navona captures the serene monumentality of the iconic Roman square that gives the collection its name, a space where marble, water and Baroque architecture have been in dialogue for centuries. Inspired by this rich heritage, the collection sensitively interprets the timeless look of travertine in a porcelain tile that has managed to capture the uniqueness, warmth and harmony of this precious stone. Digital techniques reflect the unique appearance of this porous sedimentary marble, a feature produced in nature by gas bubbles trapped during its creation between thermal and underground waters. Meticulous work has been carried out to achieve a variety of colour shades ranging from white, cream and beige to darker tones such as brown, gold and ochre. These shades give depth to the linear veins that are so characteristic of travertine. Innovative manufacturing processes mimic the distinctive hollows found in the stone. The application of grit complements the rich colours of Navona with unique textures with slight reliefs, in a natural finish available in large formats of 120x120 and 120x250. The collection recreates the beauty and complexity of this marble and multiplies its properties with the durability and resistance of porcelain, without the care and maintenance required by the materials that inspired it. Navona has been designed to complement the new Roca Tiles collections, representing a trend in neutral and warm colours.
